Before everyone loses it lol, it's most likely possible experiment because Motta system has one of the CBs pushing up to midfield to help the CMs, who then move up to help attack.

In that scenario one of the RB or LB become more conservative and push inwards to become CBs.

For Bologna was Beukema or Posch at RB with this conservative fluid role switching to CBs at times.

I would rather Danilo hits the bench. Last season he was so spastic that I don't want to see him as a starter.

getting the conte vibes of 2011 again. i love it too man. everyone must work for the team
Agreed. We've been lacking fitness too often that last 5-7 years.

Basically since Conte left. About time they get whipped into optimal shape so that if you have trouble beating a club or scoring a goal you can break them down physically over the full 90 minutes. We used to do that to teams with Conte. Now we have that avenue open to us again.

Collinet is il nuovo Pintus.

Seriously I'm so excited about the new season, the stories you hear about how engaged Thiago Motta is with his environment, even asked the club for the names of all the club staff, just so he could address them, just the fact the players are already training with the ball its fucking refreshing.

I remember when we had Ranieri and he once said in midway through pre season and he said something along the lines of "time to swap the trainers for football boots" referencing that they've done their fitness prep and now going into training with the ball.
