Our season starts here

Nah, we were lucky AF. Please stop this 4231 and go 433
Lucky? Luck has nothing to do with completely outplaying City tonight. We were better, simple as that. We moved the ball around well, found the gaps in their press, we defended with great unity and hit them on counters when opportunity presented itself.

flat and boring first half, zero risks on either ends

2nd half was exemplary though. we exploited city's weaknesses like a boss. much better tactical work by motta and his team than against bologna

We looked well drilled and gave little away to a good team with quality players. He deserves credit for that and needs to make sure we use the boost from this result to kick start our season. Too often we have had a good result and dropped points in the next match.

Subs worked perfectly too.

Lol wanted to say this. In some future debates it will inevitably come up "but 2-0 against City..."
'He beat Man City!!!'

'He outcoached Guardiola!!'

Take some time off, baldie. Come back and spam if/when we lose/draw again. Tonight's not the night.

So this squad is apparently capable of comfortably winning against Guardiola’s ManCity while also even keeping a clean sheet to show for it but then we are supposed to believe that this same squad is somehow not good enough to compete or challenge for the Scudetto in the mighty Serie Ass because transition and top4 as the only realistic objective.

Just another fresh perspective to take into consideration for both throaters and haters alike.

I wouldn’t consider a 1 excellent game an example of anything to base things on especially a city that’s missing key players and in a bad patch of form.

. Juve looked great after a cl win of 3 -2 match in September fighting back with 10 men and we saw how things went after. Let’s see consistency

Just a reminder Manchester City have won 1 match in their last 10 matches.

I'm really happy with today's performance, but we have to take City's current form (and pending legal case) into consideration.

It's also worth noting that RB Leipzig have 0 points from 6 games in the UCL.

This!

Juve management, coaches and players giving up and settling “just to make the top 4 in a transition year” is a disgrace to the history and ethos of this club.

We should definitely be challenging in this shit league we call home. Yes we don’t have the teams of yesteryear, but at Juve, you need to aim to win the league at a minimum and convey that confidence and arrogance to the fans and opposition.

When we actually show grinta, fight like men, look organised and use our brains we can beat any team. Don’t tell me this squad isn’t good enough to comfortably beat dogshit like Lecce and Cagliari.
