I'm fully willing to give him 3 seasons in order to try to implement something, don't care what anyone else says here.

That's what the whole forum is like, and why people post less now.
Wow that's a lot of time and probably more than he will get.

It took him 1 season at Bologna and he will likely get the same here. I can't imagine the board and fans accepting these performances for 3 seasons.

Hindsight opinion. Which another manager was realistic option?
This is such a stupid thing to say. You do realize the form we are in we are not qualifying for CL next season. Fiorentina are 4th and have a game in hand.

Im not saying sack X and replace him with Y.

I for sure now dont have confidence we will qualify for CL.

Without going political, its the same thing like if you want Trump to be president or not? Im not in a position to say who should be instead. We are not even getting CL spot with this form we are in. Are we seeing improvement? If anything we are seeing more mistakes. Last week Cambiaso, now Danilo. Mistakes happen when players dont have confidence? What is the first thing every other team does? Sacks the player or president or coach?

He’s saying that because that’s what Allegri got.

Just because it took us 3 seasons to sack Allegri, doesn’t mean we should give the same time to Motta. Allegri (obviously) should have been sacked after the Maccabi debacle, but that was also under different management.

Which manager gets such treatment in world football? Maybe Klopp at Dortmund when he went there in 2008 but that was very different also. It was a fallen "giant" and Dortmund didnt have any money when he went there. We just bought 50m Koopmeiners and have a 75m striker.

I could understand if its 2006 and we give Deschamps 3 years.

Its not like Motta has a proven record. Imagine if we would have Guardiola or Klopp hired right now. Then you could say. Klopp took 3-4 years at Dortmund before Bundesliga and same with Liverpool. But he has the record to back it. Motta has what record? He could easily be another Del Neri. Remember Del Neri? The Sampdoria 4th place hero. Where is he now? Cleaning toilets in Sky Italia studio.

If we go undefeated in the league (and win no other trophy) but finish 6th would you keep or sack Motta?
Anything outside of the top 4 should be a sackable offence.

Id usually argue that anything outside of fighting for the Scudetto should be enough reason as we should always be fighting for first place.

But all things considered: first season at a big club, weak squad and too many injuries. Then top 4 should be enough to give him another chance.

How much money juve loses if no cl?

They already losing like 20m per year from no shirt sponsor. And tv rights also went down by a further 30m

So yeah go ahead lose that cl spot. You can also say goodbye to all the juve players worth keeping

Motta:My players have freedom on the field. After going down 0-2, it seemed like it was over, but with great heart, the boys turned it around and secured an important point against a good side."

Motta:"There’s no such thing as a perfect moment to face City. I don’t think there ever is crisis for a team like city . We will give our best, trying to limit their play while expressing our own."
