When it comes to playing soccer, I have always been the worst player on the pitch, no question, for the past 13 years. I am totally useless. Oh please Freddy, you tell just by watching the two leagues in action that Italy has superior defending. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Just watch the football. You could say the same thing about Robbie Keane, and to some extent Henry. As Desmond stated, it does not seem like you watch much Serie A or La Liga football.

Fred, just because two strikers did not have good spells in England does mean EPL defenses are better than Italian. I mean FFS, just watch mid table sides from both respective leagues. The organization of Messina is light years ahead of Bolton, for example.

look at this lazy useless boy at the begining of the season then look at him at the end he improved tactically , physically and mentaly then look at euro 2004 this player is growing and improving in a good way and i must give the credit for man u manager who saved him from burn out with rotation and playing him in many positions .

firstly i didnt say that EPL defences are better than italian ones.
secondly if you watch bolton week in week out you'd notice they're "light years" ahead of Messina offensively,tacticly and technicly,in other words in everything other than defensively.

yeah well i only saw their games against Milan at the start of the season and the game against Juve.they were impressive but not as good as Bolton tacticly who always give the big teams a hard time as they drew with Man utd,Chelsea and Arsenal with or without Okocha,IMO Alladaryce is a great coach and IMO he's the main reason for their success.

Hell, they could put Cygan up as one of the EPL's top defenders, and that wouldn't change my view of him.

And I have been saying that there are lesser known talents who are better than Rooney, and Bojinov is one of them. It is a blessing that they underate Bojinov rather than overrate.
