The positive, if we can call it a positive thing, is that with him we look like we have 12 players on the filed, not 11.
Ranieri and his assistants have big confidence in Molinaro and it's imo because of his enormous work rate. He's always, but really always, involved in attack and in defense. He runs more than the others and he allows our team to have all the defenders at the back when we're defending and 1 player more on the left side when we attack.
The problem here is that 2 of the 12 players are bad players
With such work rate, a player who can pass and cross well will be a world class full back. I guess Ranieri expected Molinaro to improve his crossing and passing in time. He didn't do that and now a choice will have to be made. We'll have to either replace him or give him one more season to improve.
This is true, however Molinaro was involved in our attacks all the time and he had to face opposition all the time.
This is not true.
It may be true for the opening matches but not for 3/4 of the season. He participated a lot in our defensive play and he was good most of the time. Our best defender in some matches.
Oh, dear Alen

, my favorite and traditional debater on the Molinaro issue:
-I actually see it as the other way around, when we use Molinaro it actually feels like we have one player less on the field, not 1 extra player. Molinaro runs up and down but he doesnt implicates, at least positive to our play, he works a lot yes, but not for us, but for himself, he help us, as much as the linesmen who also run up and down beside him watching the match along with him

Explain here, how does his presence helps our team, in what way does he helps our team?? Offensively or defensively?? This guy is useless and we all know it!!
-As for the CR argument, i think we will find out the answer soon...
First of all, i dont trust CR's judgement 100%, he has done many tactical mistakes and he keeps repeating them, that sure shows that he is certainly not perfect, or even come close to that.
We have seen many coaches having an inexplicable affection towards some certain players that worth almost nothing on the pitch, that wont be the first time, every coach sympathises a player without any particular reason and hates another also without a particular reason. I dont know what CR sees on Molinaro, he might be sexual attracted to him
Molinaro is IMO, one of the greatest mistakes CR has done thought the entire season and it is not the only, we didnt bought any defender at the winter transfer, despite our defense sucks as a whole, that doesnt prove that our whole defense was decent, it only proves that our owners had no intention to invest more money to strengthen our team, for their very own reasons. And CR is only a pawn, brought in the team to comply with their will without embarrashing them and asking for better players and more money!!
This is a reality we face in every sector of team, not only the Molinaro case!!
-Another logic answer would be that CR and our owners already have the replacement of Molinaro in their minds and that would explain why they wouldnt invest more money now.
Maybe they expect new CBs and the re-establishment of Chiellini as our LB starter.
Or they had in mind a free agent, or a very free quality player, would become available this year, someone like Grosso, or a youngster like De Ceglie to return.
And they chose not invest then!
Or to completely ignore our defensive problems, like Real does and focus our budget on the offense, buying many quality forwards like Amauri, in an attempt to become a most offensive team and create more spectacle, for the shake of "bringing the fans back", priority our board set!!
Our managers with their actions so far have already proved their incompetence, so i dont expect a logic and efficient plan from them anymore
That argument will certainly not convince me or any other Juve fan who carefully looks what happens in our team the last years, i wonder if you used it, only to win this argument, or you do actually trust our managers and their decisions...
Cronios is so full of sh*t when it comes to Molinaro. I'm sorry Cronios but that's how the things really are and you can't deny it. You're not objective at all.
I expect to see more arguments from you to properly respond
