I agree but in no way is 5m plus Amauri to get Cassani like paying 20m for friggin' Cassani.

you could only loosely apply that to Man City...and their spending has actually improved the team drastically. So they must have some brains behind their spending. Improvement without a world class coach makes their transfer people, at least seem competent.

Man u have spent wisely over the years, other than bebe...chelsea spent big on torres, but any team would have had to spend big on torres had they wanted him.Kenny spent big on carrol and sanchez, but both seem quality players. Huge money yes, but they didnt have much time to spend the torres cash before the window closed, and they HAD to inject quality into the gap where it had gone.

So ahmed...which are the clubs which have more money than brains??? clubs which have wasted many millions and has no success???
