Watched him regularly for Real this season. With the exception of the Barca match, he was excellent and closest to his top form from 2007 than he ever was in the meantime. He turned 29 three weeks ago. He's younger than Zlatan, for example.
In the next two seasons all we need is to get CL qualification in both seasons. A 29 year old who used to own this league will be a great deal and excellent addition for the next two seasons.

Strangely, if we loan Benz, then I do see us go for Tevez /Aguero in this mercato as well. Might be interesting if that happens. Aguero, Benz, Quag, Matri, DP. Improbable given that there's no CL or other midweek fixtures but not impossible.

He'll be a free transfer and apparently only a two year contract, but we better have three kick ass CMs if we get Pazienza or he's a 5th choice CM.
Not a bad player, but he's not better at all than our current CMs. As a matter of fact, they are better than him.
