When he was a kid his favorite player was DP10 so yeah, he just said "To heck with the millions, amenities, European football and fame that you'll offer me Chelsea! I shall go play for a mid-table team that will barely pay me seven digits and has no chance of making CL any time soon. Why do you ask? Because I can, and I will, and there I shall play amongst Luca Toni and against Gennaro Gatusso, incredulous human beings."

I understand the point your trying to make however i do think who you idolize can make a huge difference in terms of where you decide you want to go, or where you stay. Recent point in fact, Krasic wanted to play for us as opposed to Manchester City where he could of made a lot more money. Loyalty comes into play as well. Look at Totti, he was chased after by Real Madrid countless times however his loyalty was with Roma, and not the millions Real Madrid could have thrown his way. I understand for every person i've mentioned there are players that only care about money and fame, however i do think that who players idolize and which clubs they respect play a part in who they decide to play for.

Neymar is not a loyal player and he is only interesting in the big money and fame
