Everyone laughed at Nocerino when he was here. Said how average he was, people need to make their minds up.

Balza yes he was a mistake as was Cassani.

Giovinco? Meh he's not needed here.
Follow me through, Giovinco is not needed because we're full of left wingers? Or because Pepe is a better player? Or because there were times when we needed a SS and Alex/Quag weren't ready?

Maybe it's because we can't guarantee as much playing time as he wants? And Seba won't accept a rol as reserve?

Who could of guessed Quag would of been injured?

Pepe is not as talented as Giovinco but this season he's been effective for us and has done important things for us.

We also have Martinez who again we could not foresee his injuries and Del Neri fielding him wrongly.

But how can you not offer him as much time as he wants since we don't have left wingers at all? We have Pepe who would be a decent bench player and... well, Martinez, who's being played out of position.

Bar injury - just look at the left side.

But yeah, if you seriously think Pepe was good enough then I have no words to add.

I never said Pepe was good enough but neither is Giovinco, that's why he's playing in a Parma side who are fighting relegation and not one of the top clubs in Italy. If people think having Giovinco would solve our problems then I have no more to add.

You should go search for statistics to see how much he played for us and how many assists/goals he had.

And no, he wouldn't solve our problems but we'd be more effective, yes.

Eden Hazard is looking like the best option atm. Fck arsenal
Little piece of info on Hazard: be barely played (about 15 min) in the last 2 Belgian NT qualifiers, despite his obvious talent. Apparently still has attitude problems, dislikes training, avoids "working hard" at most times & doesn't follow instructions (tracking back etc).
Strange that these types of complaints keep coming back from the Belgian NT- people (direct quotes, no less). While such stories don't seem to be coming out of Lille.

Yes, but most of the mid-table clubs will... most likely.

It's just the fact that 90% of people say "oh we paid 8mln for him" and later in a post they'd add how we had players in that deal too, as if it's not even important. They are a mid table and it's Matri, so I don't think we'll use some "bad or unknown" players in swap.
And another thing to take into account: It's mostly us who want a player from those so called mid table clubs & not the other way around. And if you're the initiating side & want to insert a player in the deal, that players' value will almost certainly end up being less than his actual value (in accounting terms) or than what you would get in case of a direct sale.

I wonder how much Cagliari paid for Ariaudo's other half, hidden in Matri's loan.

Giovinco isn't a left winger. I'm not talking about ability, either.
He played as a left winger here, like he played behind or next to a striker so yes, he can cover that position.

Issues with NT coach maybe?

I don't think so... Depends which player, because it can be a higher price too.

Seems unlikely though, because that would make it 2 in a row.

Think it through. We are the ones who want their player, we are the ones who want to spend less (net spending), so we are the ones who propose to insert players in the deal. That's usually how it goes when "big" teams deal with the smaller ones.
And as such, depending on how reluctant the other team might be, your own players' value decreases.

I'm not saying the other team has to agree to a deal containing other players, but if they do, they're in a much stronger negotiating position than us. (99% of the time)
