We should look for a better forward than Jovetic.
Before his injury, Jojo was arguebly the best young talent in the world. I would take him ahead of the likes of Pato, Higuain, Balotelli, and Aguero . I think the guy is so talented, and sky's the limit for him. He could play as a trequartista, could attack from the flanks or the middle or anywhere. The guy is a BEAST. Add to it, he works hard, down to earth and doesn't cause trouble on or off the pitch

lol, Jovetic >>>>>>>>>>> Our whole attack force, and almost anyone we can get on the market. Only issue is he would be very pricey.
His price dropped a bit after the ACL, somewhere around 25-30 millions is realistic. I saw the guy in Toronto last summer, very nice guy. He wanted to sign autographs for everybody, and the team directors had to come and get him because they needed to close the stadium.

I really don't see Baines coming here Delle Alpi. Sucks but that's the fact.
Everything is possible.

Jovetic would be almost the perfect signing for a forward/fantasista (almost because world best players are the perfect ones). To say he is not good or many are better then him is ridicolous (ask Liverpool and Bayern :p) when he is so talented. Pretty complete player, basically has everything you need, thunderous shoot, good header, real good dribbler, really creative, roams and attacks from all over (not predictably stuck to cut in with his favoured zone/foot), and is VERY fit, quick and strong. Total dynamo as a player (would compare him closest to a young Totti, roams the pitch a bit like him).

As Delle alpi said, besides being fantastic player, he is very hardworking and mature. No drama or extra baggage with him.

I know Jovetic is a great player, I too watched that game when he played in Toronto last May but an ACL injury can ruin ones career. We have to see him in action again before you lay out 25-30M on the kid.

I think Giuseppe Rossi, Aguero, Sanchez, and Pastore are better options. We should also be following Neymar.

But hey, we probably won't end up with neither of these guys including Jovetic. Which is such a shame.

:agree:

Well saied , i wouldn't give nothing more than 15 mln E for Jovetic .
With 25 mln E you can buy Neymar , Sanchez , and maybe Pastore who are better options than Jovetic .

In what way are they better options? They havent been injured for 9 months and are on everyones lips because of it? Because thats the only way I can see why anyone would say such a thing so easily.

Btw, I'm the numero uno fanboy of Rossi on these forums, but its painstackingly clear he is inferior player to Jovetic.

Bastos will apply for a passport in July so he becomes EU.

Mascherano has a passport no?
Mascherano has an Italian passport.

Rossi or Sánchez would be unbelievable.

Edit: Um yeah, before his injury I'd have preferred Jojo to either of them. I'm unsure now though, I don't know about his type of injury and what that will do to him.

Pastore Sanchez and Neymar won't go for anything less than 30 millions. 15 millions can get you Matri or Gilardino. The guy was easily over 30 befor his injury. Now you could get him for around 25 probably. I know it's an ACL injury and might be riskey to spend that much of money on him, but it's totally worth the risk. Many players have come back from similar or worth injuries to perform on top level such as Ronaldo, Del piero and etc

They never did. Yes, they were good, but not the same players they were before injuries. And Jovetic is not Ale or Ronaldo.

To a great extend Ale did recover and started to play smarter. He lost a bit of pace but he was smart enough to compensate that with other characteristics. One of the main reasons why he's still playing at 36 at a top level unlike Ronaldo. We can only say how good Jovetic will be until he actually starts playing again. He seems a level headed fellow, so probably he'll return back stronger than many others out there...
