I don't, I love the homegrowns. That's the way we should build the numbers of our squad, through our youth system.

But this doesn't mean we can't sell a player when the right price comes along.
We wont get great money from the deal since we have to look for a replacement. We can get 5/6M and a good replacement at best.

M'Vila? Both Moussa Sissoko and Kwadwo would fit in much better while you'd have money saved too.
M'Vila is awesome... for Melo's place. I'd rather choose him instead of Mascherano. Sissoko and Asamoah are good but I don't rate them higher than Marchisio.

Toure plays AM.

Hart

Richards-Kompany-Lescott-Kolarov

De Jong-Marchisio

Balotelli-Yaya-Silva

Dzeko
And Tevez going to leave? Think City is going to boost up his contract rather than see him leaving. Mancini said his future at City was uncertain though but I think they'll do everything to keep him.

Thought more about it and for 20M euros I would release Marchisio and go for Pastore or Vucinic. Redeem the Roman instead.

Right, one chance with a team that all had an epic fail. Good reasoning, Melo.
What about the entire 2 seasons before this season?

Lets look at it this way: If Marchisio was playing for Schalke all these years and he was German or Croatian (Rakitic), would you like Juve to buy him for 18-20m eur?

I like Rakitic but in not many aspects can he be compared with Marchisio. You had compared him with Poli which was a good example but Marchisio is a class above Rakitic. Mourinho rates Marchisio, many coaches rate him yet some here don't rate him at all, I find that odd at the very least.

Marchisio is definitly worth a pricetag of of +15M.

If Buffon guarantee's us a career like VDSar (until 38-39), then yes, keep him, but after all his injury worries the last few seasons, I don't know if he still be in the game for so many years, and then it might not be stupid to consider a 25MEuro if it would ever come in for him (although I agree with Melo that a 25MEuro offer for Buffon seems unrealistic)
25m is not enough for Buffon, it would be very hard to find a proper replacement for him and the 25m would probably end up used on a Buffon replacement.

He would take Barry's role.

City would play with Yaya Jong and Marchisio all in the middle. Mancini loves to have ball winners in his midfield.

Why are you talking about Marchisio when quoting a post regarding Buffon?

What if it brought us a young talented GK and a Pastore?
Pastore and a GK for 25M?!
Pastore alone would cost more

anyway I think Pastore is a very good player but I rather we have someone else

I don`t think we could find any reasonable replacement for Buffon

BTW if you want to convince me talk about Aguero not Pastore:D
