I hate his guts but he's a good stopper. I really wish we'd join in that race. Chiellini-Mexes would be a formidable partnership. For an interim solution we can continue to use Chiellini on the left, Bonucci and Mexes in the middle and splash the cash on a RB and we have a rock solid defense once again. Then next year buy a LB and put Chiellini where he's worth most.

Jovetic is great and I would welcome him with arms wide open. Doubt they'd be willing to sell.
Chiellini should be partnered with Bonucci, and Juve should buy new fullbacks instead. I gotta a feeling that Bouncci and Chiellini can be a brilliant centreback partnership, if they have good fullbacks playing with them.

No really, he wouldn't.

"I am telling the tifosi, I am not going to Juventus, and will never go,"
"I couldn't care less about Juventus". "I don't want to know of any transfer stories regarding myself and them. I've never imagined myself as a Bianconero."
Nothing's impossible in football, but that would be some come down.

He's been such a prick with us over the years, frankly he can got to Merda.

True, but buying a proper LB and RB at the same time will cost a lot, especially since we also need a proper LM and striker. I'm afraid if we go that route we're gonna end up comprimising on the fullbacks again and buy someone like Motta or Grosso on the cheap. I'd rather buy Mexes for free and sacrifice Chiellini for a year on LB because he is reliable and not to mention good at the position, then use cash to finally buy a proper RB.

Just a thought;

11/12
Srna-Mexes-Bonucci-Chiellini

12/13;

Srna-Mexes-Chiellini-Tremoulinas

nice, but no Bonucci in 12/13?
Or just a very expensive backup?

That's a strong lineup, but I prefer the 11/12 one. Is Tremoulinas that good?

From what little I've seen, he's very good, yes. But I like attacking fullbacks.

Even if we're given 100m for transfers, some 50m of those will go for buying Matri, Quag, Aquilani and Pepe.
Why do you keep saying this? If the new manager does not want these players they won't be signed they're loans with OPTIONS to buy they're not set in stone.

The only one we'll likely sign is Quag.

If the man in your avatar managed Juve he would ask for Aquilani.
