Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has signed a contract extension that will see him stay at the club until 2016.

The 26-year-old Serbian defender has made 99 appearances at the club since his move from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008.

He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but Chelsea have seen off any competition for his services.

Ivanovic told the club's official website: "It is good news for me, it is a very big step for me in my career and I want to give my maximum and try to help Chelsea win a lot more trophies.

"These things take a little time but my first vision was always to stay with Chelsea, there were not a lot of problems because I wanted to stay, the club wanted me to stay and I want to thank everyone who helped with the deal, I am very happy with that."

The Serbian international has won two FA Cups and the Barclays Premier League, and he added: "I really enjoy being a Chelsea player and my wish was always to stay here.

"Now I think I can give many more good games, the three years has gone very quickly, and I think it has been a success so I hope to carry on getting better and better with Chelsea."

Dinamo is more than a club for me, he gave me most beutiful and most painful moments of my life and Juve is just a club I like a lot but will never come close to Dinamo.

I have seen a lot of him actually and the reason I would prefer Matri is that Lukaku won't go away from Anderlecht under 25-30 mil which is totally insane! And I also wouldn't take Matri for 18 mil,that is crazy too.

I meant the game last year (late 2009, when they won 3-1), not just scoring 2 goals, but he was really dominant that game, especially for a 16 year old.

Matri is better now, but Lukaku might be better when will be 26.

I would really like to see that.

1) On 29th on December Dinamo were taken points by UEFA and were forbiden for fans to come support Dinamo on the game with Ajax and Timisoara. We were totally messed up because of it so we couldn't normally prepare for that game and they also set us up Mike Dean who sent of two of our players. And they scored from offside.

2) They gave our points back after that game because they knew that Ajax will let go win for Anderlecht.

3) Vs.Anderlecht Ajax played with B squad and Stekelenburg made mistakes that were unbelieveble and in two ocassions Ajax should have been awarded a penalty but they didn't and nobody complained.

4) Not one Ajax player after the game didn't have coments about their lame game or mistakes by the ref.

And there are many other things but this should be enough.
