Gio would be fine, Amauri will also be interested in joining them if Parma doesn't buy him, Grygera can be send there, plenty of players willing to join them, of course, all depending on what Palermo wants.
But let's assume we won't sign Quag as SS but go for Pastore, then the money we would have to give for Quag is available, add to that one or two players and maybe a bit extra of cash and they might consider our bid.
:agree:

We have quite a large selection for Palermo to choose from, Tiago, Almiron, Amauri, Grygera, De Ceglie, Giovinco, so there's no reason to be pessimistic about signing him.

With Money everything is within reach even you B :p! Everything has it price but it depends if we have the funds to do it.
The best things in life are free, why do you think Rab is such an easy slut?:p It's not so much about money but giving Zampirini a big head, he needs to think he's in control along with his massive ego to be stroked & i'm sure Marotta can pull it off, if he comes off as being humble.

We can give them Giovinco.
I'm sorry, were we talking about Messi or Ronaldo here? He's well within our reach, not like we taking one of the best players in the world from one of the top teams in european football.
If we can convince zamp to sell him at the right price, we can definatly afford pastore, and him at ss would be quite nice.

with quag, matri and toni around, we got plenty of options around him.

giving him the useless giovinco and amauri, perhaps paying a part of the latter his fee, should soften up the deal i think.

I wouldnt mind that the consequence from this is another year marchisio on the left.

however, i hope we do get something for the fullbacks, even if it is a loandeal.

He is not. He will cost us a fortune, is not Italian and Delneri probably needs to twist his formation to fit him in. Not realistic IMO.

Palermo ace Javier Pastore has forecast his future and said he would rather join Juventus over Real Madrid and Barcelona because of the limited chances on offer in Spain.

The 21-year-old's future has come to the fore again, and while he intends to remain at Palermo, Pastore knows he will have to make difficult decisions when it comes to the inevitable. He believes he would face a grim scenario at Madrid and Barcelona to pitch for on-field action.

"Everyone knows I have a contract until 2015 and the one who is in charge is Maurizio Zamparini," Pastore told Tuttosport.

"But if there are the right conditions to leave then I will be ready to.

"Of course I would like a team where I would have lots of chances to play. At Real Madrid or Barcelona I would earn plenty of money, but I would not be guaranteed a starting place.

"Juventus? Why not... My family are originally from Volvera, a small town near Turin. A lot of us originate from Piedmont."

Juventus take on Inter at the weekend, and Pastore admits he wants the Old Lady to win.

"I have many friends at Inter, but I wouldn't mind if Juventus win," he said.

Wow Can he possibly comes here even though he is overpriced

You're the guy who hates dark-skinned Brazilians right? Would expect you to say something like that.
