Has anyone seen much of Yuto Nagatomo? If so, could you share some thoughts?

We're linked with the player, and while I haven't seen him play, he's an intriguing option. It seems like he could represent a pretty sound (and fairly minor? 4M?) investment.

The guy is 24, typically a LB but can play on the left or right (seemed real proficient with both feet from the few clips I saw... versatility would be a huge bonus considering we're deficient at both spots), tons of pace, and he seems real solid and feisty despite his small stature... seems to take really good care of his body. He's had half a season to adapt to the league (so no non- EU issues), and the reviews I've read have all been positive.

Cesena apparently want Legro (nice given our limited funds), and Nagatomo would represent a fairly significant uptick, from an international marketing standpoint... always good, but even more so once the fairplay rules comes into effect.

Again, I haven't seen this player at all, but this seems like a favorable opportunity to add some balance to our pathetic back line, without risking too much at all.

Nagatomo would be good choice for us.. He has great crossing ability (made 1 assist in AFC semifinal and 1 in the final) and tireless run forward and backward even if the match go into extra time (watch him in 2 last matches of AFC Cup against South Korea and Australia), can dribble, good at both feet.. And his defensive play is decent both physically and tactically.. One thing about his deficiency might be his height, but i would like to compare him to Lahm or Evra.. Not so tall but really good and effective as fullback

I had read an article in which Nagatomo was interviewed near October. He said that Juve was his favorite team in Italy since he was young. Not an important fact, just good to hear...
