Pepe doesn`t know the meaning of being a winger
he only knows how to defend and this could be usefull if he plays as a fullback

Winger need dribbling crossing and prefferably pace
Pepe has none of those

I don`t know Bale but I know Elia is great
as for Lanza I rather see him play than Pepe as at least he get past his man Pepe is only good defensively
If a striker like Crouch who couldnt head for nutz when he is in Liverpool and now scoring with headers its thanks to Bale.
I have not followed Bundesliga thus i cant say much on Elia.
And for Lanza, enough of mediocrity, if we sign another LW we can use Martinez as sub instead.

What does Pepe do that makes him good (attacking wise) besides working hard?
i don't understand the love for him really..... he is a hard working player thats for sure... and thats something good but what i really dislike is he often tends to cut inside and than plays the ball back to a defender or back to one of the dm's
he hardly gets past in 1 on 1....and thats a lack of quality....
maybe we should really try him as a leftback....but that won't happen

On the left side he does for sure, but that is natural as he is right footed. When he plays on the right he often tries to beat the man/and or put a cross in.

Elia is a luxury when we have Pepe and Krasic already, use the money for fullbacks.
everybody keeps saying get good fullbacks, yet no one lists any names.

keep in mind the fullbacks first of all has to be defensively solid. him being good going forward is just a bonus because we now play with wingers.

not a single person has listed names of good fullbacks that are realistic. reason obviously is that good fullbacks are hard to come by.

this is why i'd rather we sign a great winger and have both flanks able to pressure and stretch midfield of other teams.

If he didn't want to leave (and eventually become Inter Merda), Criscito would have been ideal as he would have been free and as a lightweight CB with attacking skills, he would have been ideal for our LB.

The amount of fullbacks better then Grygera, Grosso, De Ceglie, Traore, Motta is long long long.

And they dont all play for top teams. Luis Filipe was easily signed by Atletico Madrid, and he is better then our LB options combined.

I'd say he's better than all of our wingers too bar Krasic.
