If we sign him in January it will mean that we have Rossi, DP and Quag fighting for 1 position while in June we won't be even looking for a SS because we will already have Rossi and Del Piero there.

There is only 1 name (from the realistic options) that we should be looking at for the SS position: Antonio Cassano.

Lets not waste money on players who aren't world class, never were and never will be.
