I'd have agreed completely if he used future instead of present tense after Pastore's name. Sometimes talent and potential are too obvious to be ignored.

Pastore is a very good player but he is not as good as Diego yet altough he could develope into a great player and be better than Diego

As for Zidane comparisons right now it is too soon to talk about it but it will be very hard for any player to be as good as Zidane
Messi is the only player in the world that is as good as Zidane was perhaps even better but Zamp`s words as Pastore will be worth as much as Messi in 2 years are far from the truth

I like Zidane and he certainly one of all time greats but so does Messi
Zidane was a magnificent player who created lots of goals and made the team play better and so does Messi+ Messi scores a lot and is very fast
I never seen Maradona play (put aside highlights and youtubes) but from what I`ve seen from those 2 I`d say Messi and on prime Ronaldo (before his injury) were the closest things to him
I do however rate Zidane as one of the greats however I won`t let my pro Juve thing get effect of my thinking

BUT they are both different type of players so it doesnt neccesairly mean he is of better use to any team
