I'd prefer a left back over both RB and striker.

Yeah, nice catch. We shouldn't even look at Srna and Rakitic if we have a chance to get Dzeko.
I love and rate Srna, but the man is not a right back. He never was, he is just put to play there for the Ukrainians, even if he was always (and still is for Croatia) a winger who plays on the right. Typical winger. We already have Krasic there.
Rakitic is a fine player but worth "wasting" the non-EU spot on him only if we buy quality EU players for the other positions and we still need a LM.
