I get the odd feeling that he'll start banging in goals left and right once he leaves us.
:agree:

I share your concern, Amauri could be resurrecting in a new environment. But Amoowri has only scored 15 goals in his best season with Palermo, he's a waste of wage for us no matter how you look at it. I'm glad Lazio want him, sell or trade for that fullback of Lazio + bring in a striker on loan, the best January to expect. :snoop:

Well, I guess it'd give people who hate him another reason to, at least.

I can't see us signing more than 2 players this coming Januray. LB should be a priority, then comes a striker.

Diego Contento or Fabio Coentrao for LB, as I think it'll be really difficult to get Radu from Lazio since they're competing with us at the moment.

I cannot think of a realistic choice for a good striker this January. I don't want Pazzini, I think getting him will rule out any possible move for Dzeko in the summer. I don't like Gilardino, but I'd accept him if that means he'll be a backup for Dzeko next season.
What was your previous username?

Edit: Lol, Fred, didn't see your post.

Same here but I won't miss him because whoever replaces him will easily contribute far more than Amauri ever did.
Exactly, pretty much anyone we sign at this point will contribute more.

Though, I fear we won't have someone that can chest as well or stand in one place for as long.

Palermo.

Unlike Pazzini, who sucked hard at Viola and Atalanta. :)
Lol convenient BS, he didnt suck at Atalanta, but he was more of a young 2nd forward (didnt start out as poacher), he was raw but promising, not much of a goalscorer, but more of being involved in build up for them.

Viola he was bit of a chicken, scored vital goals (mainly against us) but couldnt get the time or had the nerve to fully take his game to next level, inconsistent and didnt seem to believe in himself. He did so in Samp and is defenitely good natural goalscorer, something Amauri never was and will never be.
