If Beck arrives, that would mean no to Van der Wiel and Bosingwa, actually I think it would be nice too.

I dont know how a german player will settle in Italy and Serie A, although Beck was born in Russia, but when he is very little child leaves the country, I dont know if he can speak the language, but if he can, it would be very good, as he will play behind Krasic and they both can speak same language, which is not italian, that can be like an advantage they will have.

Oliver Bierhoff didn't have an issue adjusting to life in Italy & adapting to Serie A.
Yes, so as Rudi Foller and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, I meant there are not many german players in Serie A, it is not that popular destination for them, like it is for players from Argentina, Brazil, France and etc...
If you dont have any fellow-countryman around, you can feel homesick, maybe Bierhoff was okay, but you dont know if Beck will be okay too.

I think Beck's got to move at some point, not being horrible but he's never going to get anywhere by staying at Hoffenheim. I really think he'd make a big impact at our club, he reads the game like a veteran, and he's tactically astute(as all Germans are:D)

Let's put it the other way around, do you know of any German that couldn't adapt to the lifestyle of Italy?

How is he doing with Hoffenheim these days? Haven't really been following him much as of late (Džeko stole his thunder), but whenever I watched him he was great.

For 8M I say we should get him.

Aquilani WAS a starter for Roma.

Pretty strange discussion anyway. Would seem obvious you cant directly compare players this way. Players play a different role in different roles, some fit better and complement a team more, aside from quality. I'd say Marchisio is quite easily a better player than Song, but would he be more useful to Arsenal.. probably not.

Anyway.. Let's get Bryan Ruiz.
Pizarro and De Rossi have always been first choice for Spaletti, Pizarro in fact was always a favourite of his, so i don't know how Aquilani was a starter.

As for the comparison of Song and Marchisio, they won't even compete with each other for the same spot, Song is our DM, the man that screens our defense and plays as the holding mid. Claudio can't play that role, so he would actually be competing with Wilshere and Fabregas for a spot on the team.
