How about Menez on the right and Krasic taking the left? Would be interesting how the Serbian would do there, maybe he could flourish there with he powerful right foot helping him not just dribbling the opposition but getting those trick shots ala Robben style, except from the left flank here.

If only Ranieri's still there :depressed
Krasic doesn't really have a powerful right foot though.

Mancini: Buffon, Beck, Bonucci, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Marchisio, Pirlo, Aquilani, Pastore, Benzema, Quagliarella

Villas Boas: Buffon, Beck, Rolando, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Fernando, Pirlo, Marchisio, Krasic, Matri, Quagliarella

Conte: Buffon, Beck, Bonucci, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Aquilani, Marchisio, Bastos, Matri, Quagliarella, Krasic
Mancini's formation is mouth-watering. It's almost like a mini-Barca.

Can have some power hits now and then, but consistency is what shows prowess in that department (ala Nedveds and such). He played several years in CSKA, the amount of such goals he had in that time can be shown in brief youtube clips like ze above.

It didn't look that powerful and it was in the Russian league after all. He needs to do that on a consistent basis if he is to play in the left.
These were in the CL. At least the first 3 I watched and intended to prove my point. two against teams such as united and wolfsburg.

I never said he was a Nedved or had his power. I merely said he has a powerful right foot which can only get better and think we should take advantage of that. Besides, shooting outside the box doesn't necessarily need power these days as footballs nowadays are a lot lighter than they used to. Players like Robben rely on precision and trickery rather than power when taking advantage of such plays.
