If he wants to become the best player in the world then he needs to go the the best league in the world to a club with a top drawer manager with experience in bringing up quality players from young and being surrounded by the worlds best footballers (who do they even have) both inside your own club and against you week in and week out in your league. Serie A is a joke, no serious player goes there unless they cant get into the english or spanish leagues and on top of all that who are Juventus. They may have been something in the past but that is history, they are struggling in a league with only one decent team. I seem to remember the reason Pato and Kaka became who they are is because of Ancelotti, who is at a club with everything needed in the back rooms and a club with real ambitions, where second is just not good enough. Name one youth that Juventus have produced recently that would play for Chelsea, not one and this guy has it all to be the best. I think Dunga should just shut it.

I wanted Diego Contento after I saw him in his debut for Bayern, now he's already grown so much.
Welcome back you.

Oh and if it was only between Džeko or Neymar(without an EU passport), I'd definitely take the former. Both would be orgasmic.

I feel like Neymar is too young right now, if he has a reasonable price tag we should pick him up but I still think we should focus our attention on Dzeko or Benzema. They have experience.

Thats the only thing that potentially could go against Neymar is his attitude but then again he expects to be the biggest fish at Santos because him and Ganso are the two hot names.

Now if he comes to Juventus he would not be the biggest name to start off with and he'd have to work hard to prove himself. I'd rather sign him up if we have the chance to than look down the line in 3-4 years time and his name appearing in our wish list thread every other post. We've missed out on too many young prospects with real talent for it to happen again.

Who says he will accept having to work for a place in the team?

I wouldn't expect, or want, Juve to spend upwards of 30m on a kid with an attitude problem.

For that sort of money, anything other than a top class, proven player (Dzeko or similar) is unacceptable to my mind.

Either would be fantastic but I consider Dzeko as much of a risk as Neymar is.

Considering what happened to our last player we signed from the Bundesliga, who struggled to score in Serie A yet is scoring for fun in the Bundesliga. Something tells me the defences are pretty average in the Bundesliga.

Now I know not every player should be judged off what Diego did but it still makes me think.

You sure about this? People would start calling him our most important transfer since Buffon/Nedved and tbh - except for Krasic who still building a reputation for himself - Neymar would easily be the most interesting player in our squad with him being 18 and the next Pele and all. Media would fill his ego up.

Explain to me why it is as big a risk to sign Dzeko, who has consistently scored goals in German, European and international football, as it is to sign a kid directly from Brazil.

I'm not saying signing Dzeko isn't a risk, but I fail to see why the risks are of a similar level.

Its an investment though, we could either be getting the new Brazilian superstar to our team or he'll end up being a new Robinho, either way, he's one of the most exciting talents to come out of Brazil in many, many years.

Neymar has scored 19 goals in 55 games for Santos, which is impressive for a 17 year old kid coming onto the block. Just under a goal every other game.

He's made one appearance for Brazil and scored one goal.

I think both have displayed the ability to score alot of goals and it's even more impressive for Neymar due to his young age.

I personally think Ganso is the most exciting to come out of Brazil for many years personally.

Exactly.

If the fee was less than 20m I would be happy to see Juve take a gamble on a highly rated kid from South America.

30m, though?

Too big a gamble for me.
