Yeah, sure..lets give Fiorentina Giovinco for Vargas.. but after a season, we will regret the day we made that decision and Fiorentina will be laughing at us for making that deal.

As I said before, give Giovinco one season of regular playing time and we would forget about Vargas.

Giovinco is good coming off the bench where does alot of damage, but he hasn't been up to bar everytime he started. He doesn't have mentality and strength to be such thing. He just fall a sleep alot and his side get exposed alot from opponents when he is at LW.

The question is why do we have to play Giovinco on the wing when his natural position is AMF and SS, more central?

I think Vargas and Giovinco can co-exist, at the end, versatile players like Giovinco are needed whenever there's an injury crisis you can play him anywhere upfront. That's a huge advantage.

I have my doubts over Gio staying as a bench player for one more season. That would most likely mean he's never going to be considered a good player. I think he also said himself (or at least his agent did) that he's going to need confirmation about regular playing time or he's leaving.

There's an ultimate bench warmer like Gio in the last two seasons and a bench player who gets a lot of chances to start games when needed during squad rotation.

I think Gio was mistreated heavily in the last two seasons because our retarded managers kept him on the bench even when we needed him the most.

I guess there's a chance for him to be an important player even as a back up since he's versatile and talented. I just hope Del Neri has bigger balls than our last three tacticians.

20 mil? Closer to 30 at least.. If Giovinco managed to dish out 9 assists in 1300 minutes last season. I wonder what he would do in a full season.

I say, if they don't start him, we should loan him out. Give him a chance to prove himself over the course of a full season.

We've already noticed that he can't play as a trequartista, SS or AMF. He's a small player and like all other small players in the world, he should be on a flank. All his impressive performances has come with him playing on the wing. And he has everything to be a great winger, pace, dribbling skills, amazing crosses, vision, creativity.. All of it.
