I would take Vargas over giovinco on that left simply because Giovinco is not a true left winger....he is a creative player who hasnt establised himself with a starting positioning. He has shown his best over his career playing in the hole behind the strikers, but at youth level where bodies are smaller, he was less exposed.

In saying that, Giovinco on the right can be an option, but we'll need to invest in a quality right back who can really hold down that position as well protect Giovinco in a way.

If putting Giovinco in the deal to get Vargas reduces that fee dramtaically, then we should do it. Use that extra money to get a right winger like Krasic who i believe is the real deal. We'll have natural proven wingers this way.

oh, and as for back up to deigo as a SS, Del Piero is one option and we still have IQ, who doesnt have the creative skills but adds something different upfront. Plus we can start giving Iago his chances..he can play an advanced as well as be back up to the wingers.

If we are going to dispose of Gio, let's send him out on loan, or even a co-ownership (worst case scenario). What we MUST NOT DO is SELL him outright. That would be very infuriating and illogical.

As for the wings, I think we need to get an option on Hazard ASAP; sign him for the 2011-2012 season; keep him in Lille for an extra season for further development (loaning him out to another Italian team could be an option).

Camo, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Grosso, and Canna all have 1 or 2 more years left, either with Juve or away from the team. We have a lot of rebuilding and restructuring to do.

Why not sell him outright? If Giovinco was 18 or 19 years old, then for sure just loan him. but we have loaned Gio out before, he has come back been on bench for a few seasons now with many different coahces...obviously something isnt right and he isnt going to be a juve star if the club is looking to offload him in deals for vargas or pazzani.

God forbid they ever get a game in black and white again

When I used to play FM 08/09, the guy became a Juve legend in my team :D

To be honest, I've never followed him closely in reality, is he really that good?
He had on and off seasons.

The second part of this season for him was brilliant. He's a very good dribbler, fast and posses great technique...but he could work on his finishing a bit. No wonder Manchester Utd want him for a while.

Worth the investment, IMO.
