If they are going to sign somebody from Samp they should at least be looking at the talent there not the crap.
Indeed, it would not be economical to buy players from Samp.

First, They will need to keep their best players to go as far as possible in the CL. Second, we have taken their manager and transfer guru already. The president just can't let their best players to come to Juve too without losing their fans, unless we pay an unreasonably high price for them of course.

So, I don't think we can get any good deals there.

If we are going to buy any "made in Italy players", I think our target could be other 2nd tier Serie A teams. e.g. Palermo, Lazio, Atalanta, Bari, Genoa, Udine etc.

Indeed Guarente from the relegated Atalanta could be a cheaper option to Palombo if we really need to add one more DM. And we don't really need Cassano or Pazzini. Diego/Gio/Alex can cover the SS position and Amauri/IQ/Trez would be fine with 442 if the wingers/sidebacks can provide some decent crosses.

Most of the transfer budget should be spent on the defense and a winger.
The rest of our budget plus the sales on a rather young and fast poacher to provide a different dimension to our attack if we manage to sell one of Amau/IQ.

Part trading Amauri is an idea, but I'm skeptical of G Rossi. I especially didn't think he was worth €28m last summer when we were linked with him.
I am in for it. Assuming the amount of extra cash is reasonable of course.
Amauri + 7 million or something like that
I'd love Rossi here. Kid still has a lot of potential. But I have a feeling he won't come cheap.

Rumors are saying ItalJuve plan is underway. Pazzini and Palombo are the first targets, and guess who will used as a bait, who is also Italian....
Grosso? Canna?

Stop talking in riddles man, we'll never find out who you mean :D

Aren't they just saying this because Marotta said he likes the idea of the whole 'made in Italy'-thing? He also said he has no problems whatsoever looking at foreign players.

It's just the Italian media who'd like to see it probably, so they keep coming up with this stuff. Right? :scared:

That defence does look alright. It does work in some positions as you said.
