Reading some of the names being mentioned over the past few pages (Palombo, Ziegler, Pepe, etc..) makes me wanna hurl; this is so depressing and disappointing. These mediocre cuntbags might be good enough to warm the bench, but talk of them coming in to strengthen the side is just plain absurd.

As for G. Rossi, this guy doesn't really inspire much confidence. He is good, but rather inconsistent and unproven. In any case, why do we need him? If we choose to play Diego as an SS, with Del Piero as his sub, where does Rossi fit into those plans? Surely he can't be the lone target man? :shifty:

Palombo would have been a good addition to our squad 2-3 years ago, but not now. I'm sure he'd be quite decent for us even now, but I'd rather we keep Melo for another year. If we sacrifice Melo, we need a significant improvement and not Palombo.

As for G. Rossi, good player and actually a kind of player we need. Mobile, good finisher and doesn't hesitate to attack space but Bianconero81 is correct. It will be difficult to make him fit in some form of 4-4-2, unless we place Diego on a wing.

ItalJuve ShmitalJuve.....They have nothing so they are speculating.
The new director has just arrived, as did the new coach. All of them should sit on a table more than once or twice, discuss who to sell and how to sell, who to try to buy and millions of other details.
I don't think they made the plan yet, that's why we don't hear anything at all.

This time last year we all knew that we're strongly after Diego, Cannavaro and a MC (D'Agostino was the plan). Two years ago we all knew that Amauri is coming, we already had a free transfer or two arranged and Xabi was being seriously discussed with Liverpool.
Right now we don't know anything at all and that's probably because the awful season stopped us from making early plans. The transfer strategy is still being discussed, I'm sure about that.

I don't take seriously none of the names the papers attach to us.

Btw, we all thinking for signings for starters, but in a 4-4-2, we need backups too for wingers, and I cant think of a more simple option then Jaime Valdes, really impressive this season, and is prolly cheap (they are relegated). Plus Del Neri coached him in Atalanta.

Today:

Out: Giovinco, Melo, Almiron, Amauri..

In: Kjær, Cassani, Rossi (or Forlan), Pazzini, Palombo, Ziegler.

While else where it says that Marotta has given his word to Samp only to "take" Pazzini from them..

Diego stay's, and will be used as a winger.. :S

The best imo, or one of the 2 best, together with Vargas. Very good player to have as a back-up. Very cheap too.
Yeah Vargas is the reason I said one of the better.

And only downside is he isnt young (28 or 29), but yeah would be very good for backup. One of the few former players of Del Neri I would like us to get.

Aquilani is Roman. He's an extremely talented player. Roma were never gonna sell him for 20m if there wasn't something wrong with him. Liverpool, Benitez that is, was never gonna sell for cheaper the player he bought just a season ago if there wasn't something wrong with him.

The medics from both Pool and Roma had a saying in all this. My guess is that they said "He will never be injury free and it will only get worse. Sell while you can".

I value him as a player, but I don't want an Andrade.
Ideally, our medics should do a check up and give a final say.....but....our medics :scared:
