If his wages were not to high, would anyone take Guti on a free? I've seen a few performances this season when he came on and changed games. Granted he is in his thirties.

You'd think Gourcuff was Messi or something. Why do I feel he's a bit overrated around here?
Because people don't see him in Ligue 1. That's the problem.

I'm not that big of a fan of Gourcuff and for folks around here to say get rid of Diego for him is sheer lunacy. Especially after he didn't have the best of times in Milan.

He rarly got a look in at Milan because Kaka was platying the best football of his life at the time.

1.) I'd want them together. Never said to sell D.

2.) The guy is great, his potential is immense. How can you have the best of times in Milan when you are behind Kaka for the same position, Andy? That is like writing off Giovinco because he can't start when he has DP ahead of him.

he may be extra overrated here by some people, but that does not mean that he is not a class player.

I saw him several times with Milan and he didn't really convince me. Showed some moments of brilliance but was also closed down at times. Looking at Wiki, he had 36 appearances which isn't something to sneeze at.

I'm not saying he isn't a fine player, but he is overrated around these parts, IMO. And yes, there were some folks who wanted to exchange him for Diego, but that is the typical nonsense knee-jerk reactionary posting.

True , there were some, and I remember that every time we lost some game they were saying the same thing :"sell Diego and bring Gourcuff here". Total stupidity !
