Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi is open to offers this summer, according to his agent Andrea Pastorello.

The 23-year-old Italy international might be sold at the end of this season because of the Spanish club's financial problems.

Juventus have been linked with Rossi as they look to replace David Trezeguet who is expected to leave this summer.

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Pastorello said: “I think it's right that we evaluate every opportunity that comes our way.

“Clearly if an important offer arrives for him and for Villarreal, then it will be judged.

At the moment, there are no deals in progress. Juventus are spoken about a lot, but I believe the club has other problems to think about now.

“Moreover, the transfer market has yet to begin
,” he concluded.

Indeed, he's right. We don't need another traitor problem in G Rossi.

Rossi at a reasonable price wouldnt be bad. I still think a player like Dzeko would be useful, however, having a player like rossi would be good.

I wouldnt mind seeing someone like Chamakh joining as well for free...jst to mix up what we have as options. Trez and amauri would for those two would be interesting. Plus from a financial perspective, signing players on a free will be crucial.

Free players

I would consider bolded ones. Apart from Joe Cole they are nothing more than squad players though. if we can replace Salihamidzic with Hamit Altıntop, it would be good business.

Juve target Benzema and Gourcuff Saturday 10 April, 2010

Juventus are looking towards France to rebuild with bids for Yoann Gourcuff and Karim Benzema.

The Bianconeri will revolutionise the squad after the failure of this season and are already making plans for the future.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, David Trezeguet is one of several stars expected to leave in the summer.

The quotient of French players will remain healthy, though, as they are targeting Benzema as a replacement.

Benzema joined Real Madrid for £30m, but has struggled to make an impact and dropped behind Gonzalo Higuain in the pecking order.

The 22-year-old could even be available on a loan deal so that he can rediscover the form that made him a hero at Olympique Lyonnais.

Juventus are also targeting a more familiar face to Serie A shores, as Gourcuff has been a sensation for Bordeaux.

He flopped at Milan when played out of position, but is living up to his nickname of ‘Petit Zidane’ in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Creative midfielder Gourcuff has a £22m buy-out clause on his contract and is also attracting interest from other top sides around Europe.

Gourcuff is really a signing you guys dont need. Wingers, fullbacks or a centerback are much more needed. Splashing 20M+ on an attacking midfielder is not a good idea.

If any loan deal should happen, it has to include a set amount which we can buy him for. That would be a brilliant idea as well, loan now option to buy later. We can focus our money onto defense and wingers this summer.
