i cant get rid of the feeling that guus is a lazy and greedy old bum.

now he will coach turkey ... ok ... so they probably are mad enough to satisfy his wage demands. a reason behind that could really be, that hiddink is too lazy for the day-to-day management of players and prefers to just fly around on the costs of the FA and watch some games and have a training every few month.

i think you can say that a national teams coach is much less work than a clubs coach. less games, way less trainings, less media . . .

and please don't anybody come again with that "he will want some project for his motivation" ...

go eat more frikandel you lazy bum !

Spot on. I get the same feeling. He probably realized how much time and effort he had to put in on a daily basis with Chelsea and it scared him away. Especially from a club like Juventus right now.

Hiddink just follows the money.
So you lot wouldn't take a job that pays the most? Its not like Chelsea was his first club team,so that argument goes out the window.

Not really. He hasn't properly coached a club in 10 years. Chelsea was a one off. He might not be exactly doing it for money alone, but I think he doesn't want to get back to coaching clubs. A completely different ball game compared to coaching national teams...

Juve plan to rebuild attack
Wednesday 17 February, 2010
Juventus have drawn up a list of names as they prepare to rebuild their attack in the summer.

The Bianconeri are expected to let David Trezeguet leave the club in June and may even try to sell Amauri after a difficult year in Turin.

The club's directors are also keenly aware that Alessandro Del Piero isn't getting any younger and that he needs supplementing up front.

Tuttosport understands that Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini is in pole position. The 25-year-old is having another good season with the Blucerchiati, having scored 12 goals in 24 games.

An inquiry has already apparently been made, yielding an interesting answer from Samp's directors.

Beppe Marotta, the Ligurian club's director general, has set a straight asking price of €22m for the Italy international, but would lower the cash fee in a part-exchange deal, involving the likes of Seba Giovinco and Paolo De Ceglie.

Juventus are reluctant to part with two of their youth products and might turn their attention elsewhere. The dream is to sign Wolfsburg's striker Edin Dzeko, although competition is expected to be hot for the Bosnia international.

Cagliari's Alessandro Matri has also been scouted, but it's likely he would play a bit part in Turin, perhaps as an impact substitute.

You think he's doing it for the love of the game? He wouldn't ask for outlandish renumeration it was the case. Also we didn't get him because the BOD didn't seem to wanna match his wage demands.

I know its different coaching a national team but the man works on his reputation. He's been rather successful with them & there are many national associations that would pay him top dollar for his services.

I don't buy that rubbish of wanting an easier job. It's all down to the money & whoever pays the most gets the man.

Pazzini for 22 mil. No thanks.
I agree. To think a poacher like Trez should leave & be replaced with pazzini.:sergio:

They shouldn't tamper with the strike force unless there's gonna be a huge cash injection for transfer season.

Ahh, new rumour new "Giovinco Giovinco Giovinco Giovinco exchange exchange exchange" waffle.

Tiago + €€€ = Agüero is a nice read. We could actually offer them Grosso or Grygera or something on top of Tiago.

Sure thing.

He already has tonnes of money, why does he need €6m a year instead of €4m? :disagree: It's easy money for part time work.
So because someone has tons of that means they wouldn't & shouldn't want more? I wish we were all this way, wealth would be spread evenly over the world.

Have you ever coached a national football team? How do you know its easy work?
