Ya, too much of a risk and he's too old. He is familar in his current surroundings, and he is the captain and one of the most loved players at Barca, so despite his age he is still doing relatively well. Wouldn't be an ideal signing though, plus he won't leave Barcelona anyway, why would he?

He's Secco's dream right? Seriously if Tiago continues playing like he does for them, then Secco could make something. I'd reckon 30 million plus Tiago.

The option to buy in Tiago's loan is 8m I think. 38m is not enough. For that much, Chelsea, Barca, etc would step in and outbid us.

We should focus primarily on the defense and a new coach this summer, imo.

It's whether they need him that badly, and if we can get it done quickly like the Diego deal, we have a chance. Needing a new coach and defence shouldn't stop us from passing up a possible opportunity like that.

Exactly. Personally Chelsea would be our biggest rivals for him.

I have a sneaky feeling Aguero will be coming our way this summer.
I was walking to the gym thinking the same. Tiago is loving the whole atmosphere there, and fitting very well. Tiago + cash (~25 million) should be a reasonable offer, but the shark (Chelsea, Man city..etc will definitely throw bigger offers once they smell blood.
