He never really impressed me as a consistent player while playing as a LB. He's really, really attacking kind of player but someone who needs a bit more brain IMO. He can play in the middle too, not sure we could use him in defense, considering our other players.
But when he plays more attacking role he looks like he has no idea where to go or what to do.
Maybe Guus can handle it, but I'd try to look more.

I know I don't have to agree, it's just that I've never been able to make up my mind about Drenthe. I've always felt like he's had his moments, but at the same time he never really convinced me. We do need fullbacks though, so I'm just sticking with my 'I guess' for this one. 
About Afellay, I always used to think he'd be one of those players who would shine in our domestic league and then stop developing and just stay a regular at PSV for the rest of his career.
Now he's impressed me though, and the times he played for our NT he's done well. I've really started to change my mind about him last year. He's a really complete player too, I'd take that gamble.
