Nothing weird about that, it's just reality. But of course, I hope that I'm wrong.
Silva will have more suitors then Krasic, Silva will cost more, financial trouble or not, which is overplayed too often (see Villa), he will be hard to get still.

But if we say, costs 20m (Valencia rejected more then that already), Silva will be harder because he wants to stay in La Liga, and will have most top teams going after him. Krasic will also have suitors, and wont be easy, but weird to think he is impossible, and Silva is somehow easy.

I wish we could sign one of these obvious future stars, like Eden Hazard. Although he's 18 we should take the chance before every team in Europe wants him. Like Fiorentina did with Jovetic for example.

Why not splash some cash on Silva, Villa & Cazorla from Valencia? :D

EDIT: Oh, and also Srna, Kjaer and Kolarov please, while we're at it. Perhaps then we can start winning again.

Valencia ain't a small club :shifty:

I didn't mean to say that. I meant that he never played for a big club.

Definition or criteria of what a big club is could differ from one person to another, but for me, the minimum is that you have to be playing CL football every season at the very least.

Fair enough, although I think history is what defers a great club from a small one.

Ya but then Porto for example would be a bigger club than say Chelsea. But if and when Chelsea play Porto you will always predict that Chelsea will probably win. Also before a season starts Chelsea will always be one of the favorites for the CL while Porto, the supposedly bigger team than Chelsea(using history) will never be nominated.

Using history as the yardstick will always be contradictory IMO.

But what if that big club stopped competing for trophies and was a relegation battler every season for the past 10 years? Would you still call it a big club?
