What happened to Valencias poor economy? Weren't they in a crisis or? I want us to Sign the double D's ;)
Some Billionair took over the club and solved many of their economic issues and promissed the fans not to sell the star players this summer and so he did and he even restarted the work on their new stadium which is a masterpiece.
What happens if Abramovich decided tomorrow that he'll sell chelsea and the new owners didn't want to invest much. Will they be considered a big club?!

Ajax is a big club, chelsea has a "rich" owner thats what this club is all about.

Once they're sold, they'll get back to garbage that they've came out from....

Poland!

But Fabiański isn't a bad keeper at all.
I have nothing good to say about Polish football, really. We're in deep shit since Olympics in 1992 and all we can produce are overrated cripples like Smolarek, or what's even worse, our exotic saviors like Olisadebe or Roger. Only Kuba Blaszczykowski from BVB could be world class winger, but he seems to be terribly injury-prone.

But it's a different story with our goalies. We have more than enough quality for a single GK spot - Boruc, Dudek, Fabianski, Kuszczak, Bialkowski, Kowalewski - and besides Fabian, there's also 16-yo Szczesny in Arsenal :eyebrows: Sorry, had to boast a bit ;)

:D

Well Kuba is the obvious one I guess, but Robert Lewandowski also could be a decent for a Europa League level team. Also, Ludovic Obraniak over at Lille is an exciting player so perhaps your underestimating it a tad bit.

He looks(or sounds) promising. We sent him out on loan this season, and i've been hearing positive reports about him.

This might be a bit far fetched but also Timothée Kolodziejczak (Kolo:D) who was stolen from Lens a couple of years ago is slowly getting implemented into the first team over at Lyon. But me thinks he's going to play for France...

please insert the proper pronunciations along with the players' names, I'm having a migraine here

For me it's all natural, but I can understand your pain. You wouldn't like to know my surname. Let's just say that it starts with "Szcz" and has a total of 11 letters :D

But it's not so hard, really. "SZ" is just english "SH" and "CZ" is like "CH" at the beginning of a word (chechnya, chichuachua). Practice it, next lesson will be about letters ą, ę, ó, ż and ń :)

I'm Slavic too and I can easily read Polish, but I must admit that pronouncing some names and words is a real pain in the ass.
I just don't find it natural a Cz to come after Sz eventhough it all comes from old Slavonic and even in some ex-Yu countries, like Montenegro, there are names that start with "Szcz". :)

You Croats should know this kid playing for Hajduk Split. He's about 18 year old. Just a prospect to look at. Mario Tičinović.
