Hey I totally understand criticizing Amauri, but believe me, I seen enough of Chamakh to know him, and you say you seen handful, and there is defenitely no comparison. Players can improve, after time, as Amauri has in his career, but Chamakhs stats of 45 league goals in 7 seasons is very telling for him. Last season was his only "decent" so to speak, for him. The rest? He would be glad if even Sunderland showed interest.

I had looked into his stats and you're right they are poor, but I mean can we really judge him at 18,19,20 years old up front in Ligue 1?( addmittedly he has a record similar to Bendtner ) Let's not forget that Amauri at his 'peak' is a .36 Striker, also doesn't work hard at all to make up for his low return, I'd take a .25 striker yet to 'peak' that runs and contributes to the team of Amauri anyday.

Saying this despite being dissapointed in Amauri. But what you just said is too ridicolous. I have watched Chamakh since he was the hotshot teen that was supposed to save Morroccan footie, hehe, and duuuuuuuude are you overrating him to say the least.

Brilliant young team they had at the time, all promising youngsters that played some astonishing football, Chamakh, Hadji, Zairi and Mokhtari were the real gems of that team. Too bad only Chamakh made it.

He's rather overrated in these boards though because of a couple of good games. Definitely not as good as he is made out to be and i've been watching him since 2004.

He's not a bad player at all. He's just not good enough for a team like Juve to depend on him as a starter.

Hehe I liked Zairi the most (together with Hadji jr, Chamakh was obvious though he would do the best of them) because he was a whiiiiiiiiiiiicked dribbler, but turned out he could only dribble, ala Denilson hehe. Havent seen him since Socheux, prolly still stuck there.

And Kyle, we may seem harsh, but its due to balance with the complete overrating. He is a really decent player, but he has no bussiness starting for a competetive top team. He may prove us wrong, but needs to improve to do that.

Regarding Arab-frenchies, another dribbling maniac who might go nowhere with his career is Taraabt in Spurs (should stayed in France), he is also fun to watch. Wonder how he will end up. Really natural dribbler and talent.

Taraabt plays in QPR now. What an entertaining player he is, though i do not think he will turn out to be much of a player, mainly just a fancy player thats got a bag full of tricks. Always worth it watching the Moroccan NT just for him though, his goal against Togo in these past qualifiers was testimony to his wicked talent in dribbling.

Neither player holds a candle to the extemely entertaining Tarek El-Tayeb though, easily the most entertaining player in the Arab West.

zairi is playing for olympiakos, he's having a very good season
