I'd rather not play in Europe if we aren't in CL to be honest...we could use the easier schedule to rebuild the team.
It's why Italy deserves to lose CL spot to Germans.

They follow your logic and most of the clubs don't give a fu#k about EL. While that's sad IMO, it's a strong competition and it can only be an extra for us. We get the money and next season it should be our objective as well.

it may well be a great competition, but it will always be beneath us...rebuilding the team should be our main objective, silverware from Europe can wait a little.

The fact that we play in the Europa League might be enough to convince some higher ranked players.
If we can sell it like we want to win the Europe league (and to be honest, once we are in it, the objective for a team like Juve should be winning it), might convince some of the better players to join us.

Not to mention the EL is also interesting in a financially point of view since the reorganisation of the Euro league last season.

Not to mention the fact that we have already missed out on European games for 2 seasons due to our relegation. Missing out on them a 3rd time would completely screw up our coefficient (our as in Juve's, not Italy's).

We are currently Europe's 27th team, behind such powerhouses as PSV & CSKA Moscow. I suggest we get as many points as possible, in order not to screw ourselves over when we finally return to the CL.

We should accept our situation and give everything we have in EL. No team have too great a history to play in that competition. We are not better than our last season, and we deserve EL, and then we will play EL - like any other team qualifying. We can't live on past performances. I get the feeling some people think it is less embarrassing if we did not play EL, and hididng behind statements as "the we have a better chance of winning the league". I think it is BS. I want players, BODs and fans to really catch the spirit of EL and make sure this is the last time we play there for a long long long time....

As predicted, we're moving for Gilardino.
I like Gilardino's style.

The only concern is how he performed at Milan.
