vdV is awesome, I think you don't give the man enough credit. And I'm not just saying this because he's Dutch, he's actually really good. He definitely has a better shot for one.

VDV is not really a support striker either though, a bit like Diego. It's not like he'd be the perfect fit, if I'm completely honest. I'd still kill to have him here though.

So basically Diego's money could get us VDV. Why are we talking about him anyway, are we linked with him?

Get him and Elia, and play a 4-2-3-1 with VDV in the middle. When Del Piero comes in as a sub, switch to a 4-4-2, there you go. I should be Juventus coach (?)

Well that's true. Like I said a few posts back, he's the same type of player Diego is you could say, so he's not really a support striker like you'd usually have in a flat 442. We'd have the same 'problem' we have now having to play a 4411 instead.

Not that I'd mind, but he's not an ideal fit, that's why I doubt it we'll actually go for him.

I've always been a vdV fanboy for his style, way of playing and obviously his nationality. He's actually really good though. I've been over this many times, I think he's usually underrated a bit because of the teams he plays in and others taking his position. ( Sneijder in the NT.. Kaká at Madrid.. )

He kicked ass when Kaká was injured. He was the big man at HSV like Diego used to be at Bremen. Always does well in the NT aswell, he's simply a class act.
