[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Sampdoria President Riccardo Garrone claims the team’s star players will stay at the club for now following last night’s gut-wrenching defeat to Werder Bremen.

The Blucerchiati looked as though they had qualified for the Champions League group stages after going 3-0 up at Marassi through Giampaolo Pazzini and Antonio Cassano.

However, Bremen pulled one back in injury time to level the scores on aggregate and went on to win in extra time, breaking Samp’s hearts.

Speaking after the game, Garrone said: “Pazzini and Palombo are staying with us for now.”

Juventus are reportedly interested in both players, although relations between the two clubs aren’t at their best.

When asked if he would sell Pazzini to Juventus for €100m, Garrone joked: “Then we could talk about it, yes.”

Football Italia says Di Natale is talking to his family about moving to Juventus
It is hard for me to see us playing him in our formation as we play 4-4-2 and it will mean he is one of the 2 forwards now I know he scored a lot last season and is quite a good player but I`m not sure he is capable of playing the striker position he is more of a SS
Diego Di Natale or DP Di Natale is hard to imagine it is easier to think Di Natale Amauri

I wouldn`t mind him if he could be our striker (Amauri and Trez position) but if he is to play SS then I would rather skip on him and keep Diego

Antonio Di Natale has taken a night to consider Juventus’ offer even though he told Udinese fans he turned it down, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
*
Last night, it emerged that Juventus are prepared to sell Diego for €17m plus add-ons and sign Di Natale for less than half that price.
*
Speaking at the official presentation of Udinese’s squad ahead of the new season, he said: “I don’t know anything about this. I want to stay in Udine, where I’m happy and I want to end my career.”
*
However, now that he is aware of Juventus’ interest, Di Natale has apparently asked to discuss it with his family rather than dismiss it out of hand.
*
La Gazzetta says the move is 'almost certain' and understands that Udinese have also started looking for alternatives, the favourite being Cagliari striker Alessandro Matri.

IMO he'll do well in either of the 3 positions but he's more suited to the right side. He would possibly drift inside also.
I would put him in the middle. But yeah, he would do pretty well in any of those positions. I would take Binho over Cassano to the left side however.:D

Robinho would be the better option. Compared to Martinez, Lanzafame, Pepe any of the two will be a big improvement.
