Özil signed for Madrid, so maybe this will free up someone for us to take on the cheap. Have to say that I would've liked to see Özil here but maybe next year when he realises that he's competing for the back-up role for Kaka with Canales.

So for example how much do you really know about Dzeko or Wolfsburg?
That is very complicated, even I know that.

We're very slow and so far IMO we're doing pretty bad job. Not just that we need many new players but we bought some that we don't need (read - Martinez). The guy is good but it's just retarded seeing us planning to use him in 4-4-2
Also, we sold both Poulsen and Ekdal just so we could chase some other player. Selling Ekdal was

Yea, he knows much more than us. But same could be said about Secco, who made at least 4 terrible moves.

So far Marotta looks as good as Secco IMO.

I just know that it's ridiculous to pay 12m to get a player like Martinez. That it's stupid to invest big money on unproven players (Bonucci) and that it just doesn't make any sense to approach players like Palombo or Montolivo none of which could improve our squad even a bit.

VDV, Gago, Diarra. Any of these would be nice, especially on the cheap.

It's easier to buy the average players to fill our squad depth however when you don't have millions to spend like RM when trying to buy 3 quality players for 3 important positions thinks get dicey and take time.

I agree with Seven, its not over until its over so let the man work.

we did and he hasnt shown jack, after the failures of the old board they must know we have no patience at this point
thats a silly question, you said let the man do his job, we did and we are not convinced you and i could have done any of the deals hes done so far and after the secco debacle no way we re giving this guy 2-3 years to show us his worth.
Well said. I'm sick of the "give him a chance" bullshit.

The season hasn't started and the transfer window isn't even closed yet.

We can't start a season with 3 CB's. Bocchetti only played as the left CB in a 3 men defense in Genoa, that's a total different position than a left fullback. I don't know who this Ferreo guy is.
Didn't we start a Capello season with only three CB's? I think they were Thuram, Cannavaro and Montero, that's it. Only three. And towards the end of the season, they were getting pretty tired.

Lets not do that again.

You haven't even given him one transfer window. That's just sad.
Sorry, but the players he has brought in apart from Bonucci have been mediocre. You go on about how it's Marotta's job to handle these dealings, but at the same time it's his job to convince us of his abilities.

So far, he has not. Usually I give these guys a full window but this time I can't. It's been too mediocre and nonsensical.
