Do polygamists represent the true doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? Did the Popes of the Dark Ages and their crusades represent the true teachings of Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit? Do televangelists that command armies of congregationists and call for the destruction of homosexuals, muslims, and cities with black people in them represent the true teachings of the New Testament?

The answer is: of course not. But the truth of the matter, whether you choose to believe it or not, is that those leaders have power, those leaders have the ability to command masses of people and those leaders represent their respective religions no matter how far from it they've deviated.

How someone could suggest a government in which people like that have the ability to come to power is beyond me.

i want USA to do more pressure against iran and war is inevitable. although war isn't best option but it is better than Iran reach nuclear bomb. USA has big mistakes against Iran. i think when USA in 1979 didn't support shah as his friend and was bey passive and inactive in defending of previous regime in Iran this is one of biggest mistakes of USA in middle east. USA didn't know Khomeini thought and this cause they can get government and use money of oil against USA in many parts of world.

So you think only religious figures have such a powers to influence people regarding those issues? Ofcourse not.

Religious figures you previously mentioned, command their followers out of their charisma and lies too. So if it wasn't/isn't for their followers idiocy and lack of sight, they would have figured out that those so called religious leaders have derived away from the religion itself. So its not the religion itself that is at fault but rather the mischief of some of the followers which is predictable since we're all human, and the same happens with people in power wherever that may be who derive away from rules, commands and laws in order to gain their own profits.
