Very true. The East remained a power as long as they were good and when they started fucking up they lost that privelage. The difference is that today we're far more evolved and the West dictates how everything should be yet they're a bunch of hypocrites.

I'll only correct "their messes up" most of the time is the West's own 'messes up' and not the other way around. Leaving Afghanistan to the dogs was a Western doing, arming Saddam was a Western doing then having him invade Kuwait was their doing, then accusing him to having WMD's was their doing.

And that's just recent history.

What's power, though? These days is equated with economics almost entirely.

Thus we have social judgments based on economics. Any person who has less "stuff", any culture that has less stuff, is considered deprived and in need of saving.

That's where most of the head cases are.
