Why is that American atletes are usually quite friendly and humble, but that whenever Americans form a team they become arrogant and untouchable? It's not necessarily bad, I mean, arrogance can make you win the Olympics, but it's a strange transformation.
I think you're confusing us with the French. They were the morons who let their team arrogance go to their heads.
We're usually pretty humble until someone starts talking nonsense. The French shouldn't have opened the door. Most Americans love it when our opponents talk at us, it gives us that motivation and turns us into strange monsters. I don't think there was really any arrogance from the 4x100 team, that was a hell of a relay win.
