Just join the suicide squad.
sign me up, when they beat T&T in the 2006WC they were celebrating in the pubs like they'd just won the whole tornament, I can't actually begin or even want to think what it would be like if they win the thing.:pumpkin:

But let's say this recent Croatia win gets the momentum going. What if England succeed in 2010, I just can't imagine how much their media will poetically harp on about it like a mythical folk story...

The English nearly always get a freak result once in a while, thrashing Holland in Euro 96, or the 1 - 5 against Germany for example. It was an impressive result but one game doesn't turn you into world beaters.

Indeed. They're so foolish it's unbelievable. Just last week I saw some morons on TV saying they can't stand Capello because of the way the team plays. Well, what the hell were you guys expecting? Anybody who has followed football in the last decade knows how Capello teams work - they don't inspire confidence but they get results. But these morons apparently didn't pay any attention to Serie A or La Liga over the years, and now they're complaining/praising randomly.

True, we've got to see whether they will build on this win or not.

Croatia did have 10-men, and completely lost the plot since.

Should be an interesting duel.
