I also believe that I would use a tablet more than a laptop. Say when you are watching a live juve game on TV is there any add-on experience you can get from the tablet?

I haven't had the opportunity to try that.

Skifta is amazing, it works out of the box unlike what I have been trying since I got it.

Skifta is really cool. I ran mediatomb on my ubuntu 11.10 & use skifta to play media on my Desire - Would love to try it out on a tablet or DLNA certified TV.

What media player do you have? I've also being weighing heavily on getting an e-reader. How comfortable is it reading on the xoom? Have you tried reading on it for 2 hours plus?

I have a simple media player, the WD Live TV, it has no storage but that is taken care of by the NAS. Other than that it is great in reading any format and bringing my network to the TV screen. Of course in 1080p. I have spent more than two hours browsing forums and reading news feeds but not a book. I found so far that reading is highly enjoyable and that's why I will try ebooks.

How much did you pay for the tablet Sheik?

I've been thinking about getting an e-book reader lately but considering they do only one thing, I might be tempted to go for a tablet. Won't be for a few months anyways.

Got the Acer Iconia for about 27k. But just a day after I ordered it, the Xoom fell down to about 23k! :sergio:

Still, tab came pre-installed with a few games, got 3 additional games for free, and sleeve free with mine, so I'm satisfied for now.

When I had a hands on with it, it did feel a bit bulky. Perhaps that's cos I tried a Galaxy 10.1 just before it, so my reference was skewed. Apparently, the Iconia is slightly heavier than the Xoom. But I haven't had any discomfort so far using the Iconia, so the Xoom should be alright too.

Besides, you got far more muscles than me. :D

Sounds great. Am waiting to try out a kindle before I decide what to buy. Planning to do a lot of reading. Is it comfortable to use it while in bed.

How heavy is Xoom? Is it chunky?
It is relatively thick but I find the hold quite ergonomic, I would rather feel that I am holding something while reading especially in bed. It is not chunky just a few bit thicker. In the end the best judgement is going to a store and try them all.
