According to Spanish newspaper Deportes Cuatro, UEFA is working to exclude Juventus and Real Madrid from the next edition of the Champions League and a possible financial penalty . The decision could be taken into effect as early as tomorrow. [TJ)
Probably this whole thing needs to go through the justice system. The corrupt uefa mans grudges against juve doesnt mean he can choose which teams to punish, even if he is a bitter little pussy. Either all 12 are suspended ( wont happen) or no one is. My guess is uefa will not want to take this to court bc there is a high risk of losing, and that will be the beginning of the end for them

Juve and Real completely deserve to be excluded from any European competition next year. Both clubs show no indication they will back down from the SL.
AA and Perez are two lying imbeciles and they lead their clubs to the abyss. Especially AA, who I really think has mental issues, is hell bent on the destruction of Juve. Real will be fine.

can’t any decisions be appealed through the arbitration court?

Last time (2006) we didn’t go to the courts like we should have because there were time constraints with the start of the new season and uefa threatened Italy with exclusion if they (Italy) didn’t provide a list of the clubs for UCL. I may be wrong here but this is what I remember.

This time we definitely need to sue UEFA even if it means delaying start of the next UCL competition. Nobody likes us much anyway so we might as well be a jerk and mess with everything.

Real Madrid are the biggest club in the world, excluding them will hurt UEFA more than Madrid which is why I think Juve are safe providing Agnelli leaves us. Just imagine if Madrid win it this year and can't defend their title? What a story.

Not sure and i am certanly not an legal expert read a piece from to norwegian prof. Who sad there is presedence for not beeing allowed to ban competitions or athlets from competing in competition arranged by another organiser. Alas super league is not illegal and uefa does not have the law on their side

Very reasonable Pavel! Everyone else is wrong and you define who is a plastic fan or a real fan. Julius Caesar, Adolf Hitler or Stalin would be proud

Kroenke (Arsenal owner): we asked ourselves, what is worse : ESL, or ESL without Arsenal? Also asked ourselves what do the fans want? The global fan wants AFC v Barca as often as possible. English fans want to see more big matches, but you still want your cold nights in Stoke. We got it wrong

Yes, this might takes years to solve in court, so for all parties it would be best to let cl start as i should next season. Another thing is the fact that uefa will be kickstarting the super league if they try to ban anyone of the 12 teams. Forcing the teams to go ahead with the super league.

He's right.I was just thinking that what's been missing the last couple years from CL is Arsenal

I think a ESLish competition is going to happen eventually, and happen gradually. They tried to do this way to quickly. Give football fans a little taste of how the latest CL format works and then the probable more extreme format after that. Eventually a jump to a SL won't seem that big.

It’s not that the owners don’t understand about the history of each club, it’s the fact that they simply don’t care. They don’t see the fans as ‘fans’, just as a commodity

True. I just don't see those fans caring as much when a few years down the line all the biggest clubs have fixed spots in the CL regardless of performance. UEFA is going to have to to compromise to keep the big clubs in line. Guaranteed spots and a bigger piece of the cake is the probable outcome.

That was a good idea :sergio:

[Tariq Panja] FCB President Joan Laporta leaked details about the ESL to Laliga boss Javier Tebas at a celebratory lunch days before the official announcement. Tebas immediately alerted Ceferin about the seriousness of the situation

fans either have to accept that or basically steal the money from the rich and give it to the shit clubs. This isn't how the football economy works. UEFA doesn't even care about it as long as they get their gigantic share of the money. They act like they do when they implement shit like Financial Fair Play but then when City is blatantly ignoring it they have no balls to exlude them.
