they kind of have to. they’re fighting for their existence

if you guys were bout it, bout it. you would leave the CL and start the SL this season.
Oh, I don’t think the super league is happening any time soon. UEFA is too powerful. But so are the three clubs, and the antitrust laws UEFA is running afoul of. Nothing is gonna come of any of this. They can’t ban the three clubs from CL, and the three clubs can’t start their own league. It’s all empty blustering, but UEFA has to be careful not to try to take retribution too far in the courts and risk getting smacked down very hard. That would castrate their power long term.

Why did the EPL teams agree to pay the penalties when they can see Juve, RM and Barca seemingly get away scott free?
Because their fans still think they are guilty of something and want to see punishments against their own clubs, as a warning to never happen again.
The SL is going to happen eventually, only that at first without the PL clubs.

We are bout it, bout it. We got fucked cause the Britbongs were either too stupid to anticipate or too cowardly to hold on.

On what grounds can the FA penalize them? The FA would have had to pay them if they had stuck with Papa Perez and Don Agnelli.
I guess the idea is that TSL is so unpopular in England that big 6 won’t risk angering the fans with taking legal action, so EPL can do whatever they want.

That and a 30 point penalty, work permit restrictions, etc. what I’m wondering is how a ruling in Spain against uefa actually prevents the epl or any other domestic league from punishing SL teams?

Was it only against UEFA?
the thing is there’s no ground for punishment anywhere. What laws or regulations are broken?
