I’d like to amend this post by adding a postulate that the 12, 17, and rare 21 yr were the only outputs during the time of that post. Since then Hibiki no longer produces the 12. The 17 and 21 are difficult to find. They have replaced the 12 with Harmony which is absolutely garbage.
I like Harmony, it's just overpriced

You know what really displeased me? Macallan 12 Triple Cask, watery and devoid of character. No comparison to Macallans of olde

Since I can't find a general spirits topic, I bought this today!

+ Grapefruit & cinnamon sticks

There is nothing better than a good Gin-Tonic. :sheik:
Quality tonic water indeed.

Now you need one of these bottles:

When it comes to whiskey, I do like a couple of blended ones:

Monkey Shoulder, Hibiki 17, and Johnny Walker aged 18 years.

With regards to Single Malts, I recommend the following:

The Hakushu 12

Ardbeg Uigeadail

Glenfiddich 18 years old

Roku Gin and Tarnqueray are good, tried them. Harahorn will be next victim
