I really need to whip my own ass into shape... so I can drown my liver in whisky! :malt: :excited:
That's how it should be and it's really important to cut on the sugar the entire week and have a bit on weekends.

I had the Glenlivet 12 this weekend. Burke had some as well. I thought it was good. Drank almost half the bottle and left the rest up there as tribute or for the next weekend in the woods.

That said, I've secured a bottle of Macallan 10 for the desk.

    Solid choice.

It's probably the most readily available single malt round here.

Cool thread, I'm getting a fake I.D. this weekend so I may as well start to learn about fine alcohol:D
Man, I didn't realise you were such a youngster.

You should move to a country with a sensible drinking age.

    :lol2:

When I was hanging about America last summer, a couple of mates had fake IDs with them and they got on just fine.

Still a very different drinking culture to Scotland and our 14 year old alcoholics.

    Yup.

That and a bog standard Glenmorangie are the ones that you'll be able to find in pretty much any bar in the country.

I'm sure you know the story of why the irish use whiskey and not whisky right?

And for the record Old Comber is the single greatest whiskey or all time, I was lucky enough to drink some a few months back.
