Bozman, I need a new malt. I am travelling next week so on my way back I can get myself a fine bottle from the airport.

You know me, I don't like smoke that much, I prefer Highlands to others, I prefer some fruity taste. SHoot me with your best. I know I just described a Glenmorangie but that I have and I want something else. I downed a Clynelish, so I'd like something new.

That's a blatant stereotpy! :( We drink Whiskey to reminisce about beating our Wives, not forget!

Yeah sure, that's why the Irish and Americans stopped using the brand whisky, because the quality of your products was sooooo high :D

When it comes to Whisky never trust an Irishman, When it comes to Whiskey never trust a Scot.

Boz, you should try Clontarf whisky, I reckon you'd like it, it's more Scottish in taste.

i may give it a try and i am sure there are some decent irish whiskeys but nothing beats a single malt

@Jack-have you tried the Balvenie signature? i have a bottle right now and have to say i am hugely impressed, matured in 3 different wood types-Sherry,Bourbon and refill casks. it is a limited batch release and comes with its own batch no:tasty:

Was sipping this with 'pops' the other night. Good shit, I don't even like brown liquors but this went down so smoothly.

Well Boz, I couldn't find any of your recommendations so I opted to a fat The Balvenie Double wood. A 12 year old malt aged in whisky oak and matured in sherry oak.

I still haven't opened it because today after the flight I was extremely tired and I was sure I would not enjoy it as it requires. I guess the journey will take place on Friday, the connoisseurs are welcome :malt:

    Highland Park 10, (Provenance)

Muck, whisky, absolutely terrible mixture of flavours that are overpowered almost completely by the peat water.

Edinburgh Uni knows fuck all about Whisky if this was Whisky of the year.

Highland Park 10 is a total disaster, their 15 on the other hand is really something.

Just got this straight outta Scotland:

Any good or should I mix it with Coke? It's single malt so I guess it's some good.
