Some might think that this thread should be in the transfer forum, but I think not because IMO it should be open to all sorts of rumors, so here goes...

Monaco forward Shabani Nonda has signed for
Juventus.

Michael Owen at the Reebok next season? Big Sam's clearly been off his
medication as he thinks it really could happen. "We already have two
former Real Madrid players, so you could never actually write off the
fact we might get a third!" he joshed.

Wydad Casablanca striker Makhete Ndiaye has been suspended for the
rest of the Moroccan season after attacking his French coach Jacky
Bonnevay repeatedly with his boots.

And Arsenal will offer Gilberto Silva a new contract.

Jose Antonio Reyes is building bridges quicker than Brunel ever did -
he now insists that he's always wanted to stay at Arsenal.

Anderlecht striker Aruna Dindane is likely to snub Blackburn.

And Spurs' youth policy could be moonwalking in a worrying direction
as they home in on 16-year-old Bristol Rovers midfielder Scott
Sinclair.

An unnamed Premiership manager is claiming that Steven Gerrard will move to Chelsea in the summer for £30m.

Reports suggest that the manager let the cat out of the bag regarding the transfer saying that Gerrard has already agreed to join the West London club.

Liverpool are adamant that the player is staying so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season.

Frankie Leboeuf's going to Hollywood. Well, it sounds better than
'former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf is in talks with MLS outfit LA
Galaxy over a transfer from Qatari side Al Waqra' doesn't it?

Former Chelsea and Real Madrid target Robinho has burst their
riches-laden balloons, telling them "my future belongs to God".

Andriy Shevchenko ought to thank his very lucky stars that Uefa don't
have an FA-esque video panel as he's going to escape punishment for
head-butting Marco Materazzi in the curtailed Milan derby.

Newcastle surrender-monkey Laurent Robert will be sold ASAP for
    criticising the club.

And hard-up Rio Ferdinand wants more money to pay for dinners in plush
London eateries, or else his 'accidental' meetings with greasy rival
execs could become a more regular occurrence.

After notching up their third incident of racial abuse this season on
Saturday, Atletico Madrid have been hit with a whopping fine of ...
    GBP400.

Birmingham City are to stage a benefit game in aid of MG Rover
employees and their families at St Andrews on May 10. City's first
team will take on a Capital Gold Celebrity XI. "Every single penny
raised from the game will go to an MG Rover benefit fund set up
specifically for the cause," said chief exec Karren Brady.

England have been catapulted two places up the Fifa world rankings to
sixth following last month's World Cup qualifying wins. The Republic
of Ireland fall three places to 15th, Wales drop two to 73rd,
Scotland climb two places to 86th, while Northern Ireland Nil have
dropped to 113th, just behind Lebanon. Lebanon!

Look out for next week's "Knowledge" !:

"Is it true that the much-vaunted left peg of Juventus and Italy defender Gianluca Zambrotta is really half a foot longer than the right one?" enquires Laurence O'Toole.
